The rear view window
this panning shot showed the series of bad events and to who they would happen to it also showed the dog out by the garden and that foreshadowed the death of the dog and were he would be found you can clearly hear the busy street and the hustle and bustle of the city life , as well as the discontent in the relationship between the MR. and Mrs Thornwald.
My analysis
My analysis of the movie the rear view window is the human aspect of a zoo or a goldfish in a tank but usually there the ones being watched not us this means that when we are being watched but are unaware. We do things we usually don't do when others are around thinking we wont be caught but if we were how would we react to this our dark secrets and selves exposed to the world to see and for everyone to laugh at and criticizes. This aspect of the rear view mirror makes it interesting but not only that its also the flip side of the coin were we all want to know what each other do in secret and know that way we can feed our curiosity and obsessions with each other every wants to know the dirt on someone else. This is shown through Jeff's obsession to watch his neighbors when given nothing else to do and his curiosity eats him up. All in all though this trait ends up good for e helped capture a murderer and ultimately save the day it dose leave a dark impression of what is everyone hiding and what do we have to fear from each other.

people would seek something relate-able to them in order to not feel alone and isolated they also seek escape in order to forget there troubles and there worries. this periode took those emotions and made films related to this in order to bring comfort to the public. some examples of this are found in the work of artist such as Alfred Hitchcock and William wilder

AVANT GAURD FILM

aspect ratio and resolution play a big part in the quality of a video . aspect ratio is the ratio between the height and width of an image or film. resolution is in reference to the quality and detail of the image a sharper cleaner more finite image or film will hold more detail.
if i were to do this project again i would shoot less and keep the shots shorter. the benefit to doing this is t provided more film to play around with and it helped me learn layering and effects a lot.

montage

montage is a editing technique that is used to convey meaning between two events objects images etc... but s also used to convey the emotion behind them and show the hardship or determination in sence or like the rocky montages or maybe for stimulation of thought like the intellgent montages these show thought and let the viewer interpret meaning.

FILM! REVIEW!

 Most of the comments from my peers were on the choice of design with the flashes of color in order to add more mood and tempo.

I feel I did best on the design aspect as I had a lot of meaning in the timing and tempo of my cuts but I put most of my time in.

Most of my peers seemed to have agreed with my color and design choices and one commented on the way I cut the film to engage in a sense of confusion. 

I feel I need more work on acting and more technical aspects of the film such as camera angles and principles of design.

In future projects, I want to engage more with the camera and use it more such as didn't use it much last project and mostly handled stag props clothing and making sure everything was out of the shop.

ZAPPPPPP

1. camera movements are used to put life and emotion into the sence and action to the film. the camera movement's effect on viewers can make them scared or excited but also change their view on the subject as well.
2.film makers use camera movements to enhance there work through emotion and perspective. like if they want a character to seem powerless they may do a tilt down they crate a birds eye perspective.
3. i would make it a-little more consecutive but i really did thoroughly enjoy this project but something id like to change in editing is more effects.
